Hi everyone,

I have a little request. I'm looking for the score of "Meadow Lark Rag" by Thomas Pitts (1916). I heard this rag performed by Dick Zimmerman in a TV program about ragtime a long time ago (I have it recorded on a VHS). If I recall it correctly Thomas Pitts was from Texas. Anyone knows anything more about him? Was "Meadow Lark Rag" ever published in any ragtime folio?

Best RAGards,

Oleg

"A Tribute to Scott Joplin and the Giants of Ragtime", researched by Dick Zimmermann, publ Charles Hansen,1975.
Mentions Pitts as "Californian" but not more.

Thanks for the information, torsbyn! I just ordered a used copy of this book from Amazon.com. :-)
