It's been a while since rec.music.ragtime discussion forum was a place where ragtime music was frequently discussed. From time to time I've seen other ragtime forums and bulletin boards on the web too, but some of them are already shut down or simply not very active. That's why I feel that this forum will fill a hole. I think that people would love to have a place where they can come together and find other people with the same interest, a place where they can share their information and read what others have to say about ragtime.
For the starters I've created a few discussion threads that may be of interest. If you think the forum should have some other sections as well, just let me know! I would welcome any constructive ideas!
So, let's get started, and let's talk about ragtime!
